PhD in Public International Law and International Relations at Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM), holds a degree in Political Science. Was a visiting researcher at the Federal University of Bahia and the University of Lisbon, and taught postgraduate courses and disciplines in several Spanish and Latin American universities (University of Puebla and Guadalajara in Mexico, Universidad de la Plata in Argentina, Cartagena de Indies in Colombia). Is currently a Professor at the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UNIRIO), where she coordinates GRISUL (International Relations and Global South Group). She is also a researcher at LABMUNDO (IESP-UERJ), Latitude Sul and the University Institute of Development and Cooperation of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Is co-director of the Development and Cooperation Series of Editora Los Libros de La Catarata and was editor of the Revista Española de Desarrollo y Cooperación. Participates in and coordinates several research projects, and is a member of national and international networks related to the study of International Relations and International Cooperation for Development (such as the CLACSO WG on South-South Cooperation and Development Policies). Young Scientist from Our State (FAPERJ) and Research Productivity Fellowship from UNIRIO. Its main areas of activity are International Relations; Cooperation for Development; Human rights; Social Movements and Civil Society, Migration and Development, Africa, Latin America.
