Adjunct Professor of Political Science at the Institute of Social and Political Studies of the State University of Rio de Janeiro (IESP-UERJ) and PhD in Political Science from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (PPGCP-FAFICH-UFMG). He was a Postdoctoral researcher at the Brazilian Center for Analysis and Planning (Cebrap) and at UFMG, a postdoctoral resident at IESP-UERJ, a Professor-tutor at the São Paulo School of Economics (EESP/FGV), and a visiting researcher at the Department of Political Science at the University of Essex.

He is a researcher at the Center for Legislative Studies (CEL-DCP/UFMG) and the Center for Political Institutions and Elections (NIPE/Cebrap). He works in the areas of Comparative Politics, Political Institutions, Legislative Studies, and quantitative methods applied to Social Sciences, with an emphasis on machine learning and causal inference.
