He is a professor at the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.unirio.br\/ppgcp\/\">UNIRIO<\/a>), was a tenured researcher at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.br\/turismo\/pt-br\/entidades-vinculadas\/casa-de-rui-barbosa#gsc.tab=0\">Casa de Rui Barbosa Foundation<\/a> and a research fellow at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.american.edu\/centers\/latin-american-latino-studies\/\">American University<\/a>, in Washington, DC.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"eplus-4pSRDQ\">He is the author of <em>Virtude e Limites: autonomia e atribui\u00e7\u00f5es do Minist\u00e9rio P\u00fablico no Brasil<\/em> (Edusp, 2009), and one of the organizers of three other books: <em>Reforma Pol\u00edtica e Cidadania<\/em> (Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Perseu Abramo, 2003), <em>Opera\u00e7\u00e3o Lava Jato e a Democracia Brasileira<\/em> (Contracorrente, 2018), and <em>Governo Bolsonaro: retrocesso democr\u00e1tico e degrada\u00e7\u00e3o pol\u00edtica<\/em> (Aut\u00eantica, 2021).
